The sensitive and committed work of Sofia Moro split into
The sensitive and commited work of this spanish photographer splits into photojournalism, documentary photography and publisher photography for different media such as Matador, el País Semanal o Vanity Fair. This book contents 64 photos in color and B&W taken between 1991 and 2011.
Eduardo Momeñe likes the way Sofía understands photography, that idea of the portrait in which she sees the human reflected, the closeness of that posed black and white, and also the photographic beauty of those other protagonists in a landscape surrounded by that (square) difficult format that, once is released, tell us so much. Back to colour again, a documentary approach contextualized by the text, by the shadows of the story; the dialectic that makes the images speak, two pairs of shoes, a hand with photographs photographed. An aware gaze.
