together the series entitled ‘Idomeni Laundromat’ by the famous Chinese
artist and activist Ai Weiwei.
A total of 21 works selected personally by the artist come together in a
unique publication that will delight contemporary art enthusiasts and
Weiwei’s fans alike.

Ai Weiwei (Beijing, 1957) gained worldwide recognition after
participating in the design and construction of the Bird’s Nest Stadium
in Beijing, along with Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron. He also
participated in Venice Biennale and Kassel Documenta, as well as
achieving great success with his installation at the Tate Modern of over
one-hundred million sunflower seeds cast in porcelain by a thousand
Chinese craftsmen.
