"Bajarí" is the way gypsys named Barcelona, an unofficial word to describe an invisible city that fascinates every single one who looks a it. Through the history of some artist families we discover Carmen Amaya's legacy, the best female flamenco dancer of all-time, born in the Somorrostro. Bajarí suggest us to recover footprints that should not disappear from memory.
Due to the 50th aniversary of the flamenco dancer and singer Carmen Amaya, Bajarí reflects the gypsy heritage in Barcelona. Texts by Eva Vila and images from Joan Tomas, four first person stories about four families.
