In the early 1980s decade, Miguel Trillo produced the Rockocó fanzine, an underground publication that portrayed the different urban tribes of the capital and which has become a cult object.
In the middle of the decade, he composed Callejones y avenidas, an unpublished publication that shows, in Trillo’s words, “calm portraits of restless nights”.
All these subjects and archive of publications are brought together in La Primera Movida, a book that includes the original models and photographs, with which Miguel Trillo makes an attempt to represent a society that has evolved from the human need to a belonging feeling towards the group.
Miguel Trillo (Jimena de la Frontera, Cádiz, 1953) has witnessed and cataloged an aesthetic and moral transition, portraying young people in his environment, day and night.
In the Madrid of the eighties he made the anonymous characters of the Movida his primary objective, and in the early nineties he undertook a portrait of Spanish youth in small provincial capitals.
